How to Build a DIY Travel Trailer – Aluminum Exterior and more (Part 2)

Part 2 of the How to build a DIY Travel Trailer Project. Adding the window framing, additional support structure, wheel wells, flooring, aluminum siding with VHB tape and more! … oh yes, and I beef up the trailer tongue a bit too!

Please let me know if you have any questions 🙂

Big thanks to Industrial Metal Supply for partnering with me and supplying some of the steel for this project! Check them out online or one of their awesome stores!

Note about the tape: The VHB tape I used for this project was CV62f and CV45F. It is very expensive, upwards of $100 per roll at most places I found. I ended up purchasing it from for about $50/per roll.. which was the best price I found anywhere. I paid full price and did not get a discount but just wanted to mention it in case anyone is looking for it and haven’t found a good affordable source for it 🙂

If you guys like the videos I make and would like to help support the channel at no additional cost to you. Please consider doing some of you Amazon shopping through this link. I may receive a commission on some of the items you buy. Thanks for considering, it’s greatly appreciated ☺
