Lighting bottles or other glossy products, often calls for the use of a gradient. Since glossy products reflect their environment directly, we need to alter the lighting such that a gradient is being reflected onto our surface. By creating a DIY diffusion panel, we can get softer gradient transitions than we would see with a foldable nylon diffuser. Let me run you through my workphlo for how to make a diffusion panel.
